Utah's Celebration
Chris has been talking up this Pioneer Day celebration since I met him. Finally we are in Utah during the summer to participate. It all started last night in the park. A symphony played patriotic songs while cannons and fireworks were set off to correlate with the music. I must admit I was impressed at the timing. We look forward to the upcoming parade and celebration this week.

Introducing Dallin Bradley Hess
A Little Brother! Well here we go again. We are so excited to be having another little boy. I must admit I am starting to feel a little outnumbered already but I am sure the fun and excitement in our home will only be increased by this little guy. To date I am 26 weeks along and due October 30. I think he will come October 17. Time will tell if my mother intuition still works! I must also let you know that we have had a really difficult time naming this little guy. Thanks to Bradley we decided on Dallin and then gave him Bradley as a middle name in honor of his contribution. Brandon was excited to name the baby Spiderman. We considered it but decided it may not be as cute when he is 20.
4th of July Fireworks
Brandon had so much fun with the sparklers. I am sure that he did about fifty of them. I guess Chris forgot that we only had one kid when he went shopping. I have a permanent reminder of this special day scarred into my arm. While Brandon loved the sparklers he freaked out when a spinning flower landed beside him and with flame in hand jumped to me for protection. First he singed my hair on both sides and as I was trying to save my scalp he stabbed the sparkler into my arm. I am pretty sure it burned for about three days. As you can imagine my excitement for the night was killed after that.
