Buzz Tucked In

Brandon sleeps with Buzz every night. The other night Chris went into check on B before we went to bed and this is what he found. Notice Buzz all snug and tucked in, laying on the pillow at the right end of the bed. I guess Brandon didn't have enough room.

Ring Around The Rosies

Chris caught the boys playing ring around the rosies. We thought this was cute. These two really are best friends.

Another Day Out

In between snow storms STILL, we had a couple nice days. We decided to take the boys to our local park and have a picnic. Brandon is getting so big. I am surprised at all of the things he can do. His climbing skills have certainly gotten better. One thing he was scared of was the tunnel slide. I guess it was a little to dark. Finally, I climbed up and went down with him. He was so proud and ran right back around to do it again. I was proud that after two children I can still fit down the tunnel slide; so it was a success for us both. As you can see Aaron got his first park ouchy. The worst part is that I know he loves the park so I woke him up to play. What a way to wake up.

Brandon and Aaron's room

We decided it was time to get Brandon out of his toddler bed and into a big boy bed. I took him to pick out bedding knowing that I would have to settle for something like Toy Story or Spiderman. Fortunatly he is super into Diego right now and we could not find it anywhere. He finally found this lion rug at Kohl's he really wanted. I guess because there are animals on Diego it was close enough. I had no idea what the bedding looked like but it really didn't matter. He was getting the rug. So, I grabbed the twin bedding and we took it home. I could not have picked a better set. It matches perfectly with Aaron's bed and it is super cute. The quality is way better than the character sets and bonus it was on sale. Great choice Brandon! I want to get a few more pics for the long wall but here is the room as of now.

Brandon's first egg hunt all alone

Since we had conference Saturday morning I took Brandon to the only egg hunt I could find at 8:00 in the morning. It was at our local Smith's. Lucky for us not to many people wanted to get up for it so there were only like 10 kids in Brandon's age group. This worked out well for us because Chris had to work and so I had both kids alone. Brandon was going to have to egg hunt by himself. It is funny what kids instinctively know how to do. His excitement so full that I think I fed off of it and turned into a 3 year old with him. I was cheering for him and he was picking up eggs and candy as fast as he could. I cannot believe how well he did. What a fun morning.

THE Egg

This egg caused Brandon so much excitement. I thought the hunt started at 8 but it didn't start till 8:30. I tried killing time but eventually there was nothing to do but wait in our area. Brandon saw this egg and he kept inching towards it. Finally he got it in his hand but the hunt had not started yet. I made him put it back. He kept looking at it and then at me. I think he touched the thing a dozen times. I was so worried someone would come steal it when they said go before Brandon even knew what to do. Don't worry he got it.

Easter 2010

This little girl came over by Brandon to pick up candy. Her mom was worried she was taking all of his candy. I think he did alright.
