Shooting Guns

Brandon had so much fun on this ride. It had a gun that made real shooting noises when he pushed the button. He kept his eye up to the trigger and yelled pow pow pow the whole time. The little girl in front of him was clearly unaware of why he was enjoying blowing her up so much.

Stake Lagoon Day

What fun we have had! Our fearless Brandon enjoyed the ladybug drop, a roller coaster, the octopus water ride and many others. After six hours of fun he was out before we even made it from the park to the parking lot.

Our Little Cowboy

Brandon had fun dressing himself up at the treehouse museum this weekend. His chaps kept falling off but he just pulled them back on went on his way.

Utah's Celebration

Chris has been talking up this Pioneer Day celebration since I met him. Finally we are in Utah during the summer to participate. It all started last night in the park. A symphony played patriotic songs while cannons and fireworks were set off to correlate with the music. I must admit I was impressed at the timing. We look forward to the upcoming parade and celebration this week.

Bliss Family Reunion

Best Cousins

These are some of my favorite pictures of Brandon with his cousins and Aunt Baylee. He had so much fun camping out and playing with all of the kids. We are so excited for the next reunion.

Introducing Dallin Bradley Hess

A Little Brother! Well here we go again. We are so excited to be having another little boy. I must admit I am starting to feel a little outnumbered already but I am sure the fun and excitement in our home will only be increased by this little guy. To date I am 26 weeks along and due October 30. I think he will come October 17. Time will tell if my mother intuition still works! I must also let you know that we have had a really difficult time naming this little guy. Thanks to Bradley we decided on Dallin and then gave him Bradley as a middle name in honor of his contribution. Brandon was excited to name the baby Spiderman. We considered it but decided it may not be as cute when he is 20.

Watching fireworks with dad and lighting MORE sparklers!

4th of July Fireworks

Brandon had so much fun with the sparklers. I am sure that he did about fifty of them. I guess Chris forgot that we only had one kid when he went shopping. I have a permanent reminder of this special day scarred into my arm. While Brandon loved the sparklers he freaked out when a spinning flower landed beside him and with flame in hand jumped to me for protection. First he singed my hair on both sides and as I was trying to save my scalp he stabbed the sparkler into my arm. I am pretty sure it burned for about three days. As you can imagine my excitement for the night was killed after that.

Brandon's modest drum solo

Brandon was "all-done" just as we got the camera to start filming. We was a little shy and nervous because the chair was swiveling. He watched Tyler play an awesome solo, and when I set him down he ran back to the drum set, more excited than ever.

Tyler and Brandon Rockin' OUT!

Once Tyler sat down and showed Brandon a sweet beat, Brandon just let the rhythm take over. Our favorite part is towards the end of the clip when you can tell Brandon is really getting into it because he puts his head down while drumming his heart out.

Face Decorating

Decorating Cookies

For Valentine's Day we bought some sugar cookies and let Brandon go to town with a decorating kit.
